The Palm City Chamber of Commerce hosts a fun run at Jock Leighton Park, with participants running both east and west over the Veterans Memorial Bridge. The course includes a section through the park, with eastbound runners using the bike lane and westbound runners on the sidewalk for safety. Local veterans and dignitaries take part in the event, and a portion of the proceeds supports Southeast Florida Honor Flight.
