Participants are invited to run, walk, bike, rollerblade, or use scooters along Portland's river trail, with strollers and well-behaved dogs welcome. After the event, attendees can gather in a beer garden. Thanksgiving or turkey-themed attire is encouraged. A participation fee is required, with discounts for groups and fees including a shirt, snacks, and water. Proceeds benefit Portland Public Schools and St. Patrick's Catholic Schools. Those not interested in a T-shirt may still participate without registering.
