The Las Cruces Turkey Trot is a community event organized by runners for runners. Participants receive a tech shirt, race swag, and are eligible for age group awards and special prizes for costumes and team sizes. The race supports the LCRC Summer Youth Program, offering free fun runs for children 14 and under. New features include a slice of pumpkin pie at the finish and a packet pickup expo. All race distances start and end at the LCPS Field of Dreams, and the event includes a donation drive for El Caldito. Group discounts are available for simultaneous registrations.
