The event is a holiday season run held at The Citadel, starting and finishing on the campus track. The course takes participants through the campus, Summerall gate, and Hampton Park before returning to the finish. Water stations and restrooms are available near the track. Race day registration and packet pickup take place on the morning of the event. Awards are presented after the run, and parking is provided near the track. Official results are posted online after the event.
