The Art Car IPA 5K is a fun, social running event sponsored by the University of Houston-Downtown, Flying Saucer, and Art Car IPA 5K Beer Pacers. Participants enjoy a guided run or walk that covers approximately 3 miles, followed by socializing with beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass, and breakfast from the Texas Tamale Company. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all paces, with pace leaders to guide the group. Free parking is available in downtown Houston on Sundays. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions.
