The Alice Haughaboo Grit and Grace 5k and 1-mile Fun Run takes place in Downtown Decatur, Alabama, following a USATF certified course through historic neighborhoods and ending at The Old State Bank. The event honors Alice Haughaboo, daughter of coach Alana Haughaboo, and supports the Austin High School Cross Country Team and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Participants are encouraged to wear Christmas gear or purple in Alice’s memory. Parking, restrooms, and post-race refreshments are available near the Old State Bank. Race bibs with chip timers are provided and kept by participants.
