A community fun run and walk welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, encouraging holiday-themed attire and a festive spirit. Awards are given for best individual and group outfits. The event starts and ends at Nixon City Hall on a clearly marked course. Proceeds support the Lone Star Endurance Athletes Track & Cross Country Scholarship for NSCISD students. Paid participants receive a T-shirt and finisher medal while supplies last. The event has a participant cap, and registration for a free T-shirt may no longer be available if the deadline has passed.
