Ralph’s Run is a uniquely Oregonian race that honors the legacy of longtime Oregon Road Runners Club member Ralph Brown by continuing his tradition of an annually increasing distance. The 2025 edition features a 20.25K, alongside a 10K, 5K, and kids’ run, all starting and finishing at Tom McCall Upper Elementary in Forest Grove. Set against a backdrop of quiet back roads and scenic wine country, the courses challenge runners with rolling terrain, including a memorable climb near the cemetery on the 5K. Formerly known as the Y2K Run, this event brings back the charm of quirky, year-matching distances—giving participants a shot at a new PR every year. Finishers in the main distances receive cozy Ralph’s Run mittens, adding warmth to a brisk January morning. It's a community-first event on the roads of Forest Grove.
