The ML5K CommUnity Run/Walk is an event that honours the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while promoting community health and wellness. Participants follows a route featuring Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the historic streets of Cartersville. Proceeds from the event support medical assistance and the MLK Bartow County Scholarship Fund. The event includes activities for all ages, such as a Kids Fun Run and awards for top finishers in various categories. Everyone is encouraged to participate, whether running, walking, or supporting from the sidelines.
