Mark the Barber's Run/Walk event in Sandusky features both a 5K and a 1-mile option, with routes utilizing city streets and the Diamond Trail. A competitive 5K walk group is included. All participants receive a swag bag, finisher medal, and, with early registration, a long sleeve tech shirt. Awards are given to top finishers in various categories. The event supports Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry in Sanilac County. Packet pick up and awards are held at Maple Valley Elementary School, with refreshments and facilities available for participants. Shirts can also be purchased separately to support the cause.
