The Tainan International Marathon is among Taiwan’s most popular road races, drawing thousands of runners from across the country and abroad. With categories including the full marathon, half marathon, and 10K, it welcomes both elite athletes and recreational participants. The course highlights the city’s character, combining urban streets with historic landmarks, and is supported by strong logistics and enthusiastic spectators. In recent editions, more than 4,000 runners from over 35 countries have taken part, reflecting the race’s growing international profile. Co-organized by the Taiwan International Marathon Exchange Association and the Asia Marathon Major League, the event blends competitive sport with cultural discovery.
