The Ranger Regiment Music on the Lake event features a 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run, both starting and finishing at Chisholm Trail High School's Ranger Stadium. The Fun Run is untimed and goes from the stadium to the band hall, while the 5K is a timed race that includes the stadium, band hall, school, and Marine Creek Lake trail.
