El Reto del Indio is a non-profit ultra-running event held in the summer in Panama, crossing the Isthmus from ocean to ocean. Starting from the Caribbean sands in Colón Province, through the mountains of Panama Oeste and Coclé, and ending at Playa Blanca on the Pacific Ocean. The route, going up towards El Valle de Antón, follows the Rio Indio, from which the race derives its name. Participants experience significant elevation gains, challenging themselves through diverse terrains and breathtaking landscapes, making it a unique endurance experience. This journey across Panama offers a remarkable test of determination and adventure.
