The Berry Half Marathon, 10K (6.2 mile) , and 5K (3.1 mile) offer a uniquely scenic race experience on the world’s largest college campus, the Berry College. You will arrive at 27,000 acres of trails, meadows, historic architecture, and roaming deer. With no public roads, all routes traverse quiet campus roads and trails, passing landmarks like Frost Chapel, the Old Mill, Win Shape dairy barns, and Possum Trot Road. The half marathon features a USATF-certified course with mostly paved surfaces, gentle hills, and brief gravel sections, ideal for steady pacing. All races start near the iconic Ford Buildings and are supported by student and faculty volunteers. Runners receive tech shirts, finisher medals (half marathon), and post-race refreshments. With staggered starts and clearly marked aid stations, the event combines nature, safety, and campus charm in a relaxed but well-organized setting.
