Poppy's Run for Life is an annual event dedicated to honoring those affected by suicide and raising awareness on the issue. Proceeds support suicide prevention and awareness programs at Alexander JFS and the Montrose Center. Founded by Caryn Honig, whose family was personally impacted by suicide, the event highlights the rising concern as suicide remains a leading cause of death in the U.S. Participants are encouraged to support efforts in prevention, education, and awareness to help those struggling with mental illness.
