The Valentine's Day 5K, originally known as the "Serendipity Run," began in the 1980s and became part of the Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series in 1994. The race features various awards for male and female finishers, including categories for Masters, Grand Masters, and seniors. A special Sweetheart Competition allows participants to team up with a spouse or friend, with their combined times competing against other couples. Registration is available, including same-day options, and participants who register early are guaranteed a shirt and medal.
