Club Kokomo Roadrunners and Palmer's Jewelry are hosting the Be a SHEro 5K Run/Walk, a women's only event celebrating International Women's Day and promoting healthy activity. This event is part of the Kokomo Women's Expo and serves as a fundraiser for a local domestic violence shelter. A new addition is the Little SHEro Sprint for girls 10 and under. Participant registration includes race entry, a t-shirt, a finisher medal, a swag bag, and access to the expo. Proceeds support the Family Service Association of Howard County Domestic Violence Shelter.
