Proceeds from this race benefit the Meadowcreek High School Cross Country Program. Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers, top masters, and winners in various age categories, with gift cards as prizes. All registered participants receive a long sleeve t-shirt and a goodie bag from sponsors, though late registrants may not receive a t-shirt. Bibs may be distributed on race day for late entries. The event is supported by local businesses and sponsors.
