Nutty Cutters 5K is designed to test more than just your speed. The course is set up as two laps around the park, but with a twist inspired by "Chutes and Ladders"—on each lap, you'll encounter two spots where you could be randomly sent on a shortcut, and two where you might have to take a long detour. Be prepared to add some unexpected distance to your run. The "No cutting" option lets you stick to the standard 5K course, but note that since most athletes will be navigating the unpredictable shortcuts and long cuts, all prizes are awarded by random draw. Every runner receives a complimentary shirt while supplies last, with sizes chosen at registration. There’s a cash grand prize for a randomly selected finisher. Plenty of other prizes are up for grabs, too.
