The Goyang City JTBC Half Marathon takes place around Ilsan Lake Park, drawing over 11,000 runners to experience one of Korea’s most energetic spring races. The course, which starts and finishes at Goyang Sports Complex, is designed as a loop, offering participants the chance to enjoy both speed and scenery. With wide, flat roads like Goyang-daero and sections through key city landmarks, it’s ideal for setting new personal records. Originally launched as the Goyang Peace and Unification Marathon (2009–2014), the event was revived in 2023 and is quickly reestablishing itself as a major fixture in Korea’s running calendar.
