The Shamrock Sprint, organized by Queen City Running Company and Drifa Brewing Company, is an annual mile-long race starting near the Marquette Fire Bell Tower and ending past the South Beach Entrance. Participants receive commemorative items, and prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as the top youth participants. An award for "best mile attire" is also available. The event is open to all ages and includes timing for participants.
