The course features a channel crossing from Croatia to Montenegro, a start line inside the famous Blue Cave, swims through an abandoned submarine pen, and a loop around a fortress island. Water conditions range from calm fjords to choppier Adriatic stretches, demanding versatility from every swimmer.
